In the fall of 2001, my now husband and I moved to Cambridge, Ma. I had heard about this yoga studio up the street that everyone was raving about. With skepticism, I decided to give it a try. When I walked into my first class at the Baptiste Power Yoga studio I knew something was different. What I had previously experienced in other yoga classes was slow, boring and just not that interesting. I was instantly hooked to the Journey Into Power class that the Baptiste Power Yoga studio offered. Not only was the class physically challenging, but the mental practice kept me coming back for more. Baptiste Yoga offered to me a breakdown in the traditional walls of yoga that can be intimidating and not accessible. What I love about the Baptiste Yoga methodology is that it makes yoga accessible for anyone with any background.

A few years later in 2005, my husband Doug and I moved to Park City from Boston. I eventually completed both the Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher training with the Baptiste Institute, which combine to over 200 hours of certified training. I love living in the mountains, am a passionate skier and all things winter, and care passionately about our community in Park City. My husband and I have three kids and two dogs.
