Jenn Solomon has been studying and teaching yoga for over a decade (E-RYT500), and has worked with incredible yoga teachers including Reema Datta, Andrew Eppler, Jen René, and Brandy Lyn.

As a Yoga Therapist, she has studied and workshopped with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk (author of “The Body Keeps the Score” and founder of the Trauma Center at the Justice Resource Institute); David Emerson and Dr. Jenn Turner (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga); Dr. Richard Miller (author of “Integrative Restoration: The Ancient Practice of Yoga Nidra for Easing Stress, Healing Trauma, and Awakening to Your Timeless Presence”, founder of the iRest Program for Healing PTSD and founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapists); Amy Winetraub (author of “Yoga Skills for Therapists” and founder of the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute); Dr. Peter Levine (author of “In an Unspoken Voice: How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness” and founder of Somatic Experiencing Therapy); Nischala Joy Devi (author of “The Namaste Effect” and “The Secret Power of Yoga”, student of TKV Desikachar and Yogiraj Sri Swami Satchitananadaji); Leslie Kaminoff (author of “Yoga Anatomy” and long time student of TKV Desikachar); Dr. Marc Halpern and Dr. Ram Rao (The California College of Ayurveda); The Love Your Brain Foundation, The Prison Yoga Project, and the Center for Trauma and Embodiment. She has studied Holistic Anatomy and Physiology through The Soul of Yoga Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals, is a certified Trauma Sensitive yoga teacher (CYT) through YogaFit’s Warriors program, a certified Meditation & Mindfulness teacher (CMMT) through the School of Positive Transformation, a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practitioner, a Level 1 Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) teacher, a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider (YACEP), and a Yoga for 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR) leader. She has completed the Principals of Ayurvedic Medicine program at the California College of Ayurveda (AHC), has trained as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) with Kathryn Templeton via the Himalayan Institute, is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), trained in Yoga Therapy through Yoga Fit and most recently The Soul of Yoga Therapy, an IAYT accredited program in the tradition of Viniyoga/TKV Desikachar, and trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS institute.
